Mikayla Chambers placed 6th in 7th grade girls 1600M run and 4th in the 7th grade girls 800M run!
Graham Meister placed 4th in the 7th grade boys Discus and is the 2022 STATE CHAMPION in the 7th grade boys Shot Put, with a school record throw of 43'04"!

Dwight High School is inviting all 8th grade students to attend Senior night festivities at the Boys Basketball game on Friday, February 11th. DTHS will also be recognizing Coach Joe Stevenson, who is retiring from coaching after 25 years. The JV game starts at 5:30. Coach Stevenson will be honored at halftime of the JV game, which will be at approximately 5:50PM.
Also, the DTHS Senior Boys and the cheerleaders will be performing a co-ed dance. So come on over Friday night @ 5:30PM!
8th grade students will be able to enter the game FREE of charge.

Tonight's Sectional Championship game has been moved to Thursday night. Game time and location remains the same, 6:30pm at Gardner.
The 8th grade Regional Championship game has been moved to Friday night. Game time is yet to be determined.
There will be no practices today, Wednesday, February 2.

Due to concerns with Covid-19, the 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball programs will be taking a pause until Monday February 7th. Teams will not be practicing or participating in games during this time. 8th grade night is rescheduled for Monday February 14th.

Congratulations to our 7th grade Boys Basketball team and their Regional Championship last night! They defeated Gardner, 41-17. They move on to play for the Sectional Championship, Wednesday February 2nd at 6:30, in Gardner.

Welcome to Redbird Athletics for 2021! Registration for Softball, Baseball, Cheerleading, and Girls Basketball is now open. Initial registration is for 6-8th grade students, except cheerleading. Once we see if there is a need for more athletes, 5th graders will be able to register.
All athletes will need to be registered for school, on 8 to 18, and have a current physical on file in the office before the deadlines:
Softball: July 16th
Baseball: July 23rd
Girls Basketball: August 20th
Cheerleading: September 30th
Sports fees are not paid during school registration.
Sports fees can be payable to Dwight Common School as follows:
One child/one sport: $30
One child two or more sports: $60
Multiple children in two or more sports: $90

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
-DIAGONAL ZONES: QUICK DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
-DIAGONAL ZONES are designed for convenient parent drop-off and pick-up.
-DIAGONAL ZONES are for expedited drop-off/pick-up of students without adult exit of vehicles. -Any parent leaving their vehicle must pull into a parking space (west of the main entrance/along circle drive).
-Vehicles should pull forward to the front of the zone, NOT STOPPING in the center.
-Students should exit curbside only.
-PLEASE DO NOT park in the handicapped spot directly in front of the diagonal zone.
-PLEASE DO NOT walk across the grassy areas from the church parking lot. Please walk around using the crosswalk/sidewalk.
